Hi, there are many places that supply materials. Chemical companies through to equipment specialists. It really depends upon what you want. You can even buy a lot of old lab equipment on ebay!

Sigma Aldrich, Fischer, Scientific Lab Supplies are all companies I have used to order research stuff. Once they receive my order over the internet, they ship it with other peoples stuff to our building and I go and pick it up downstairs.

I don’t work in a lab! I work on my computer, and I talk to people, and I use medical records. Mostly I need cups of tea to keep me working, and I buy tea from my favourite tea shop.

Today though because of the records I need I am working in an office in the hospital labs. They are full of samples of blood, poo and wee, so they smell a bit funny, but I soon get used to it.
