      No, It takes a long time to fully test and develop a new antibiotic. It can take 15-20 years from having a promising molecule to it being prescribed to its first patient. It requires multitudes of scientists to get a rug to market!

      No – I make the antibiotics we already have last longer and work better. If new antibiotics are invented they will be very expensive, so it is important to keep the old ones working.

      Afraid not. I have evaluated numerous antibiotics against organisms that had not been previously tested, so have advanced things here.

      Personally no! They take time and money my research group however has got a few people who are testing new antibiotics sent to them by a company on leishmania (an amoeba that eats away at your skin!!)
