I work predominately on what’s called gram negative bacteria, they are bacteria that have a second membrane outside it’s cell wall. This is because they are trickier to develop antibiotics for due to this membrane. I will then hopefully go onto gram positives (which lack this outer membrane) and see what my chemicals do to them. I also look at ALL metals inside and outside the cell to see what is happening so I can have an in depth view of what is happening.
