      Yes – I like talking to people. I used to be very shy, but I have learnt to be good at talking.

      Hi, it is not a problem. I often have to give lectures to several hundred people.

      I think speaking to people is great – especially about science! Often people don’t know what scientists are really like so I think competitions like this really help to show this! And it’s really fun to explain the science we do to students who are interested and want to learn!

      Yes, I set aside a couple of weeks to talk to all you guys. If one generation of scientists did not encourage the next generation of scientists, we would run out of scientists quickly.

      I also just like talking about interesting science!
