      Antibiotics cannot cure everything. They only work on bacteria.

      There are some antibiotics which can kill the vast majority of bacteria. They are called broad spectrum antibiotics. However, many bacteria are becoming resistant so they are becoming less useful. There are also some bacteria which were always resistant to them anyway.
