The immune system is really complicated and doesn’t just live inside one organ, and is very interesting.
I also think that brains are very cool!

To choose an organ is difficult. As I like to study microbes, learning their ways of evading our host immune system is fascinating, such as how they can persist in blood or skin despite having a fully functional immune system. The mechanisms they evolve to do this is really awesome!

I think the brain is the most complex and interesting out there. However, because it is so complicated, we don’t really understand it very well which also makes it quite confusing and less easy to get it.

I suppose I’d echo Ceri in saying I think the immune system is FAB.

I am most interested by heart, it’s so resilient and keeps pumping blood all by itself. It never rests and keeps doing it’s job 24/7 and it is what keeps us alive! <3
