• Question: Can people get more than one virus at a time?

      Yes they can. But the viruses then have to compete against each other when they’re in your body for healthy cells. If the two viruses are really similar they can infect one cell at the same time. Viruses from that cell are then a mixture of the two and this is just one of the ways new diseases and viruses are made.
